Webster’s Dictionary defines mediation as the intervention between
conflicting parties to promote reconciliation, settlement, or compromise. A trained mediator is a neutral party who assists others in conflict resolution.
Mediation can save individuals both time and money, and most cases can be resolved or settled through the mediation process. You can start the mediation process before or after court filing and with or without an attorney. Mediation has been proven to be less costly during the dispute resolution and to have higher levels of compliance with the agreements, saving money and frustration over time.
